Semi-Automatic Low Profile Turntable

Orion took the popular and value-priced H-77, replaced the Insta-Thread with the Insta-Thread LT (200% vs 260%), replaced the Allen Bradley controller with an Orion microprocessor controller, and made it a bit slower (12 vs 14 RPM) and modified the turntable support system. The result: the L-77, an economical, yet highly capable stretch wrapping system built upon the same robust structural steel frame as the H-77. This machine is ideal for customers with low to medium throughput needs (up to 50 loads a day), yet demand a high degree of reliability and convenience.

The L-77 is also available with a full steel surround deck (L-77S) for easier pallet jack and electric walkie loading.

Insta-Thread LT™ film delivery systems

The exclusive Orion Insta-Thread film delivery system pre stretches film at a standard rate of 200% for superior film economy, strength and load-holding power. Threading film through the unit is as easy as opening the hinged frame, pulling the film across then closing the frame. Film loading on the Insta-Thread LT is fast, safe and easy: simply open the hinged roller frame, pull the film across then close and latch the frame.

Forklift portable / open mechanical design

The L-77 features forklift portability from the front or the rear of the machine for convenience. The machine also has Orion's unique "open" mechanical design which means easy access to major components such as motors and gear boxes. Periodic maintenance and part replacement is fast and easy. Heavy duty turntable support system

11 Orion Dura-Glide self aligning casters support loads weighing up to 4,000 pounds. The turntable is driven by a chain and sprocket for a very positive mechanical coupling. Unlike some machines that use belts, the heavy duty ANSI roller chain is commonly available and is non-proprietary. Positive home alignment assures that the turntable always stops in the same position as where is started. Soft start gradual turntable acceleration avoids problems with unstable loads. Microprocessor control center

The L-77 control panel features a durable, user-friendly control panel with membrane switches and a large mushroom style E-stop button for safety. Inside the locking NEMA 12 box is the exclusive Orion micro controller which controls all machine functions. The L-77 features the money saving Revo-Logic system for precise application of both top and bottom wraps.
